Upon enrolling as a student or subscriber to Beauté Academy’s website or related courses, as part of the enrolment process, we collect the personal information that you have provided us, such as your name, email address, etc.

You acknowledge that we may send you emails about our site and related course(s), course content, registration, your course progress, or other relevant updates. Beauté Academy may also email you to notify you of changes to the course, survey your usage, or collect feedback and opinions.

  1. Course and Website Hosting

Our course leverages the Thinkific Labs Inc.’s platform and our site is hosted by Shopify. You acknowledge that we use their online course creation platform that allows us to sell our services to you.

Your data is stored onto Thinkific Labs Inc.’s data storage and databases. Thinkific Labs Inc. stores your data on a secure server that is behind a firewall. Please review their privacy policy (https://www.thinkific.com/privacy-policy/) for details on the collection of your data.

  1. Payment

 If you purchase a course from our site, Beauté Academy uses a third-party payment processor, for example, Shopify. Payments are encrypted via the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is only stored as long as it is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

 All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards established by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. The PCI Security Standards Council is a joint effort among brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

The PCI-DSS requirements are adopted to better ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site, service providers, and related courses.
